The Comet is Coming

Music Video for the band The Comet is Coming directed by Charlie Robins. At the start of the project we talked about finding a way to jump between the physical world and world made of particles and energy, like the power of the music was an energy drawing our cast together. We build a brand new LiDAR rig using Kinetic sensors to capture multiple camera angles of depth information in real time and then brought that depth data into Houdini to produce our intricate particle simulations.
